LTL Less Than Truck Load

LTL transport (Less Than Truck Load) is a type of delivery method in which a truck transports goods that do not occupy the entire cargo space of the truck, but only a part of it.

LTL transport makes the entire transport process more complex because the transported goods do not go directly from the supplier’s warehouse to the customer’s warehouse, since there are more goods from different customers in the truck.

The customer who chooses LTL transport pays only for the used cargo space, making it a more economical solution for transporting smaller shipments.

You will choose the LTL transport option if:

• your goods are not fragile or sensitive for transport, since shipments may be exposed to a greater risk of damage due to frequent loading/unloading during transport.
• the time of collection or delivery of the goods is not agreed
• transport goods are not expensive
• you are transporting a smaller quantity of goods
• you are looking for a more economical solution and your shipment does not require fast delivery.
