Scholarship Call for High School Students
Based on the Rules and Criteria of the company Mega-Trans d.o.o. Visoko, we hereby announce a call for scholarship applications for high school students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Enrolled for the first time in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade of a regular high school education in one of the schools located in the City of Visoko (Gimnazija Visoko, MSŠ Hazim Šabanović, Medresa Osman ef. Redžović, or the Franciscan Classical Gymnasium)
- Achieved a GPA between 3 and 5 in the previous school year
Scoring and Ranking Criteria (maximum 100 points):
Academic Criteria – 30 points
- GPA from previous grade (GPA x 5) – max 25 pts
- Talent, extracurricular activities (sports, clubs) – max 5 pts
Social Criteria – 70 points
- Belonging to a national minority – 15 pts
- Socioeconomically disadvantaged (income below 300 KM per household member, rented accommodation, social aid) – 10 pts
- Larger household (2 pts per member) – 10 pts
- Orphans (10 or 20 pts depending on situation) – 20 pts
- Serious illness of a family member – 10 pts
- Distance from home to school – 5 pts
Up to 6 students with the highest scores will be awarded scholarships.
Only one scholarship per household is allowed.
Scholarship Amount: 150 KM/month, paid over 10 months during the 2024/2025 school year, starting from March 2025.
Required Application Documents (copies, certification not necessary):
- Proof of residence (CIPS)
- Confirmation of regular school attendance
- Report card from the previous grade
- Evidence of extracurricular involvement (certificates, awards, etc., not older than 3 years – if applicable)
- Household certificate (not older than 60 days, issued by local community)
- Proof of Roma minority status (if applicable)
- Rental agreement or proof of residence in a social institution (if applicable)
- Proof of income for household members (last 3 months’ salary, pension, social assistance, etc.)
- Confirmation of unemployment (for unemployed members, issued by the employment office)
- Death certificate(s) (if applicable)
- Medical report or disability certificate (if applicable)
Scholarship Call for University Students
Based on the rules and criteria of Mega-Trans d.o.o. Visoko, we hereby announce a scholarship competition for full-time undergraduate students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Enrolled for the first time in the 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate/bachelor studies at the Faculty of Transport and Communications or the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo
- Achieved GPA between 7 and 10 in the previous academic year
Scoring and Ranking Criteria (maximum 100 points):
Academic Criteria – 55 points
- GPA x 3 – 30 pts
- Interview assessment – 20 pts
- Talent, sports, courses – 5 pts
Social Criteria – 45 points
- Socioeconomic disadvantage – 10 pts
- Larger household – 10 pts
- Orphans – 15 pts
- Serious illness of a family member – 10 pts
Up to 3 students with the highest scores will be awarded scholarships.
Only one scholarship per household is allowed.
Scholarship Amount: 200 KM/month, paid over 10 months during the 2024/2025 academic year, starting from March 2025.
Required Application Documents:
- Proof of citizenship or copy of ID
- Proof of residence (CIPS)
- Confirmation of enrollment (first-time enrolment in current year of full-time study)
- Transcript of grades with GPA for the previous academic year
- Certificates from extracurriculars (courses, sports, etc.) – if available
- Household certificate (not older than 60 days)
- Rental agreement or proof of social housing (if applicable)
- Proof of income for household members
- Unemployment confirmation (if applicable)
- Death certificate(s) (if applicable)
- Medical records or disability documentation (if applicable)
All documents may be submitted as copies. If selected, originals or certified copies will be required.

Deadline to apply: March 24, 2025
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
The final list of selected scholarship recipients will be announced on March 28, 2025. All selected applicants will be contacted via phone and/or email. Contracts will be signed and additional documentation requested at that time.
Selected scholarship recipients may also be considered for internships, apprenticeships, or employment opportunities at Mega-Trans, depending on company needs.
